A series of information is available on 14 main themes in this section of the site. The information is separated in four sub-sections: Mapped Outputs, Organisations, Publications and Statistics.

The aim of this section is to disseminate the research output from the wider AIRO research project and to provide users with details on the key organisations, publications and the latest statistics from the 14 key themes.

 

Mapped Outputs

A series of maps are available for download within this section. Much of the data has been made available through the main statistical agencies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Maps are freely available and can be downloaded and used in reports, publications and for in-house use. Users must seek permission from AIRO prior to usage of images in published reports and documents.

Organisations

The Organisations directory contains a listing of key organisations, authorities and institutes that are operational within the Island of Ireland.
Contact details (address, weblink, phone and email) are available for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

If the details of your organisation have been omitted on this portal and you would like them included please contact us and we will upload the relevant information.

 


Publications

This section provides access to key documents, publications and strategies that will be of use to planners, policy makers and reserchers.

A wide variety of reports and publications have been produced by institutes, organisations and various authorities in Ireland both North and South. These reports and publications will be either directly accessible through this site or information will be provided as to where they can be obtained.
AIRO aim's to keep this section updated on a monthly basis and user's will be notified of recent publications and releases.
User's may require Adobe Acrobat Reader to access some publications
 
Statistics
The principal aim of this section is to provide users with access to the spatial statistics and data that are currently available throughout the island of Ireland.
Users will either be provided with access to AIRO produced time series .xls files or a direct link to an external website where the data is held.
AIRO will provide users with updates on the latest releases of data relating to the current themes.
